Youth English Tutoring Programme

16 students from SIS were involved in the Youth English Tutoring Program from Nov 2015 to June 2016.  This program aims to provide an opportunity for the children to improve their English language in general, i.e, their grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure, and particularly focuses on creating chances for them to speak in English out-loud with more opportunities to converse and communicate in English outside of school.  Our students needed to design the curriculum, materials, games and created the learning atmosphere among the children aged 10 to 13, every Sunday from Nov 2015 to June 2016.

One of the parents of SIS students said “You should be so proud of the teachers of those teens as they are so professional with their knowledge (really act like a teacher during the classes) and committed to the community services.”
