Year 7 and New Parents of Year 8 Curriculum Evening
At South Island School, we believe clear communication is an important component in your child’s leaning. One way in which we can support this is to ensure parents know our school, understand the way we operate, appreciate the philosophy behind both our curriculum and the way it is delivered, and feel that you have a growing relationship with the staff who work in partnership with your children. To this end, we will host a Curriculum Evening at South Island on 17th September, during the course of which you will be offered an insight to your children’s learning and have an opportunity to meet some of the teachers who run their sessions. In this way, you will get a good picture of what we are about and how we approach learning and teaching. We will send more detailed information closer to the date, but please mark the date in your calendar.
