Year 10 Enrichment Programme

As part of their elective the students who have joined our Urban Garden have been really busy making bamboo plant stands and planters to be able to hold all the herbs that we are growing at the moment. These include tomatoes, basil, fennel, parsley and lots more. As well as this they are tending to the many fruit trees we have grown. Our LSC students and the Year 10 are planning to sell all that they are growing at our Nightfest in November. As you can see from the photos the plants are thriving.  We are also growing some coffee trees and are at the moment cultivating the berries to be able to dry and use. Paul Melsom has been working with the students on this activity.
