The Conjuring Arts Club for Y8, 9, 10 and 11 students!

The Conjuring Arts Club is a club dedicated to the art of performing magic, sleight of hand, and card flourishes. Members of the club will get to learn the fundamental skills of sleight of hand techniques, the presentation of tricks, as well as basic card flourishes. Members are required to bring a preferably new pack of standard poker size cards of good quality, Decks such as the standard Bicycle deck would be ideal for such practice.

Hugo Kwong, a Y12 student, will be teaching this club. He has about 3 years of experience with close up magic, card cheating techniques and also has great passion for card flourishes, commonly known as Cardistry.

Location: S61
Day/Time: Every Monday after school, 3:30 – 4:20 p.m.
The first lesson will start on 28 Feb (Monday) after school.

The maximum capacity for the club is 15 people and admission is first come first serve! So please do not hesitate to join before it’s too late! The deadline for registration is on 23 February (Wedesday).

P.S. Learning sleight of hand and card flourishing is not that easy, please be prepared for frustration, and please remember it will require hours of practice to do them properly, then some years to master them.
