Water Supply

A small number of parents have expressed concerns after seeing some reports in the Media (which were triggered on Monday by an ESF Press Release). There is absolutely no need to be concerned about our Water Supply.

There were a total of 300 tests across ESF and a single source in each of four schools came back slightly over the recommended limits.  One of these was a drinking fountain outside our staffroom which was disconnected immediately. This water fountain has never been very heavily used by staff or students. The same day that the test results were received, the offending source was shut off and it will not be re-opened until remedial work is completed and extensive, high grade, re-testing has taken place. All other sources passed the tests at SIS.
