The 3rd Annual Terry Fox Community Run Hong Kong 2015

Date/Time: November 7, 2015 (Saturday) from 10am – 3pm

Venue: Renaissance College in Ma On Shan

Cost: FREE!! Donations will be appreciated but not required.

All funds raised will be directed to support cancer research. ESF CEO Belinda Greer will also be participating.

Who was Terry Fox? Terry Fox was a Canadian athlete, humanitarian and cancer research activities.  Diagnosed with bone cancer and with his leg amputated at a young age, he began a quest to help others find courage and raise awareness for cancer and research by starting the Marathon of Hope, a run across Canada.  After 143 days and 5,373km, the cancer spread and was forced to end his quest.  He died at the age of 21, leaving behind a worldwide legacy.  In its 35th year, Terry Fox runs takes place around the world.
