Sports Bulletin – 17 May 2019
On Thursday, the SIS Frisbee Team went down fighting in their first ever Ultimate Frisbee fixture against an experienced Delia School of Canada side. All played with great spirit and smiles on their faces, and they are ready to go again next week! Special mention to Clarence Mak who scored the first ever point in an Ultimate Frisbee match for SIS. Well done and a great effort from all the players!
On the other side at Kings Park, SIS Touch Rugby Team finished runners-up in the HK schools competition. SIS won the semi-final against CGCC comfortably 6-1 before falling just short against Australian International 4-2 in the final. It was a great effort by the team in their first season in the competition. Player of the day: Matteo Avitabile. Congratulations to the team!
Our Junior Sports Tour has flown to Phuket on Wednesday to participate in the annual Football and Basketball competition at British International School, Phuket. Good luck to all the teams for this weekend’s competition and hopefully we will hear some good news from them when they get back on Sunday.
