Re-opening of artificial turf pitches at five ESF schools

On 1 December 2016, ESF closed the artificial turf pitches at five of our schools to allow for detailed safety investigation and testing to be undertaken. The five schools include Discovery College, King George V School, South Island School, Sha Tin College and Renaissance College.

These tests have now been completed and we are pleased to note that there is no increased health and safety risk associated with use of our pitches.

All of our artificial pitches have been re-opened for use with immediate effect. We thank all members of the ESF community for their patience while we investigated this matter fully.
