ESF Chairman’s Award
The Annual ESF Chairman’s Awards evening took place at Sha Tin College on Wednesday 8th August 2018. It was fantastic to see how many South Island School students from the Class of 2018 were recognised with awards for excellence on the night.
Five alumni were given Wider Achievement Awards, four received Applied Learning Awards and twenty-five were honoured for their IB Diploma scores. This includes nine students who scored above 40 points in the Bilingual Diploma. Special mention must go to Julie Ahn and Leo Kim who scored the maximum possible 45 points, as well as to Ines Ostheim-Dzerowycz, winner of the Carlson Tong Award for her outstanding Bilingual Diploma score. You can read the full list of students who were honoured here.
We are certain that the Class of 2018 will go on to achieve great things at university and in their subsequent careers. We do hope they will visit us as alumni in the very near future!
