ESF 50th Anniversary Visual Arts Exhibition (16 June – 14 July 2017)
The 1O1O x ESF 50th Anniversary Visual Arts Exhibition, presented by the English Schools Foundation (ESF) is one of the highlight events of the ESF 50th Anniversary Arts and Music Festival. “Views of Inspiration”, is the theme of the exhibition, offering an unprecedented opportunity for 40 ESF students from the 5 ESF secondary schools and 2 Private Independent Schools. All of our artists are between Year 10 to 13 and will present their unique inspiring vision in the form of visual artwork. Our hope is to inspire the community to appreciate how visual arts can provoke the creativity and development of the next generation.
Together with the exhibition, Dr. Ed Wickins, Executive Principal of King George V School, Ms. Jacqueline Gourlay Grant, Head of Performing Arts of ESF Kennedy School and Mr. Soi Cheang, Hong Kong Film Director and Producer, all of whom will be sharing with the community, showing the importance of arts within education, creativity in arts, film & video production.
