Digital Literacy Update

With a new school year already underway, it is a salient opportunity to engage staff, students and parents in discussions surrounding responsible use of digital technologies in school. For those new to our school community, I will periodically send out updates during the year and am always happy to engage in discussions about the use of technology at South Island School.

Given the media saturation surrounding social media in our lives, please take 5mins to read the following excellent review by Common Sense Media of 3 Apps we may all want to be aware of in 2015/16. These are Yi Yak, Ask FM and Snapchat.
