NIGHTFEST 2016 – A VIRTUAL REALITY

The PTA would like to express our sincerest gratitude to the entire South Island School community for supporting our annual fundraiser – Nightfest.  What a night it was!!! With over 2,000 guests passing through our school, the energy was electric throughout the entire event!  We had showcases of our incredibly talented students performing in the Atrium and on the Main Stage.  Our International Food Fair was bustling with crowds waiting to sample the amazing flavours of China, India, Korea, Japan, France, The Netherlands, and South East Asia!!  A HUGE THANK YOU to those parents who donated not only their time and effort to prepare the food, but also those families who helped to sponsor these stalls!!  Our student teams did a fantastic job with their Enterprise Stalls, their Charity Stalls, and the House Game Stalls – all exceeding expectations!  Our parents and teachers all came together on the night, offering much of their time to volunteer and assist with the many aspects of Nightfest.  Without all of this support and community, Nightfest would not be possible!!  Lastly, the Nightfest Student Head team did a fantastic job with the planning and organizing of the event!!  They worked cohesively, tirelessly and were fully committed to the task of making 2016 Nightfest bigger and better!!  They went above and beyond all expectations!!!!

The winning numbers are available on the school website https://www.sis.edu.hk/pta-events/ Please note that all prizes need to be collected on or before 6 January 2017 from the PTA office.

ITEMS of BUSINESS – RAFFLE TICKETS

Parents and students – if you have any unsold raffle tickets, please return them to the PTA Office as soon as you can.  We need all sold and UNSOLD raffle tickets returned for accounting purposes.  If you have lost your tickets, parents please send an email to the PTA Office – pta@sis.edu.hk stating they have been lost – with your child’s name and class.
