iParent App Update – Touch ID

Dear Parents,

Thank you for your support with the development of iSAMS. We are happy to announce a small but handy update to the iParent app.

The new update allows quicker access to your account with the “Remember Me” function. Once “Remember Me”  is switched on, you will be prompted to allow the app to access your Touch ID*, or to choose a NEW four digit code of your choice. For Android users, you will be asked to choose a four digit code.

Next time you log in, you will be asked to use Touch ID, or to enter your chosen 4 digit code rather than having to type your username and password every time. This is the most secure and hassle free method for login.

Please note that Touch ID is currently available only on the iPhone 5S and later models, iPad Air 2, iPad Pro, iPad Mini 3 and later models.
